Calling all Spring Holiday Content!
Easter and Passover are right around the corner and this means that both advertisers and users are looking for Holiday content. With contextual advertising campaigns abound, advertisers are looking to be on the page with content related to their products. Additionally, users are out searching for recipes and ideas to make Easter brunches, dinners, Sedars and treats. It’’s a perfect time to capture those extra advertising dollars and user traffic.
Desserts and Treats:
This time of year desserts and treats are high on everyone’s list. From kid friendly bunny cakes to more sophisticated coconut cakes, you can’t go wrong with listing one (or a few) Easter desserts on your blog.
Some ideas include:
- Bunny or Easter Egg shaped Cakes
- Jelly Bean/Egg Haystack treats
- White Chocolate Truffles w/ rainbow sprinkles
- Bundt Cakes
- Hot Cross Buns
We currently have advertisers looking to be around ‘egg’ related content. This could apply to some of the dessert recipes above or more traditionally some eggcellent brunch recipes. And If you think there aren’t many egg recipes to choose from, you’d be mistaken, there are dozens!
Here are just a few ideas:
- Eggs Benedict with ham
- Eggs in a basket
- Eggs Florentine
And there are limitless options for stuffing omelets! You could do an entire week’s worth of omelet recipes, to be honest.
Ham is another favorite target of users and advertisers. A classic honey ham recipe will do the trick. Or you can appeal to your backyard cookers with a smoked ham recipe or even a BBQ ham recipe!
Another popular search term this time of year are ideas for Passover recipes and instructions on how to serve a proper sedar plate. Passover recipes are going to include lots of Matza and creative ways to avoid flour or chametz. This can include Matza themed desserts, like a chocolate matza pizza or even cakes and sweet breads made with almond flour instead of traditional flour.
